Hello, my name is Wendy. I was born and raised in New York. I graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. I also have a TESOL certificate. Before coming to Korea, I worked as a teacher’s assistant in a kindergarten class in New York City for two years under the Department of Education. Then I moved to South Korea in 2017 to teach English. I have taught at an international school for two years. I was the designated second-grade homeroom teacher for one year and the fifth-grade homeroom teacher for the next. The subjects I taught were English Language Arts (ELA) and mathematics. It's my fifth year teaching at a public elementary school. The students’ levels vary from starter (phonics) to advanced.
