Hello. I am Teacher Dagwa, a warm and friendly mentor who helps children with science and learning. As a science education specialist, self-directed learning coach, and author, I practice an educational approach that fosters creative inquiry starting from a child's questions, as well as learning routines that encourage independent thinking and action. For preschoolers and lower elementary students, I conduct classes where they discover science in everyday life, expand their curiosity and inquiry skills through experiments, and cultivate creativity and problem-solving abilities. For upper elementary students and middle schoolers, my focus is on self-directed learning methods and 1:1 coaching that cultivate the power to study independently, accompanied by the fundamental question of "Why should we study?" Based on my experience in science experiment education in Daechi-dong, field operation of the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education's Youth Career and Vocational Project, my perspective as a mother growing alongside her child, and know-how accumulated from offline experiment education, online kids' classes, and parent education lectures, I am currently running online and offline classes that integrate science and self-directed learning.
