🇺🇸 Hello. I am Sarah, a teacher at <Paro Edu Global> who truly loves children and education. 🏫 I completed my entire education in the United States and have supported the academic and emotional growth of students for a long time while working as a school counselor in public schools. Through this process, I gained a deep understanding of both the public and private education systems in the U.S. and witnessed firsthand the process of children learning languages and expanding their thinking. Currently, I am developing a curriculum based on CCSS (Common Core State Standards) together with the Paro Edu Global team, providing children with high-quality English education comparable to that of the U.S. local level. My classes do not stop at simply ‘learning’ English; they focus on the experience of ‘thinking, expressing, and understanding the world’ through English. I love diverse cultures and have lived in various countries, including Thailand and Korea. In particular, while in Korea, I worked at an English kindergarten, teaching children of various age groups. Thanks to this experience, I gained a deep understanding of the learning styles and emotional characteristics of Korean children, enabling me to design customized English learning plans that are perfectly suited to each and every child. I am also the mother of a bilingual daughter. As both a mother and an educator, I have observed my child’s language acquisition process and explored teaching methods for a complete bilingual environment. My top priority is helping children accept English not as a language of fear, but as a natural and confident language. I believe that English is not merely a combination of grammar or words, but another "linguistic self" that allows a child to express their thoughts and emotions. In particular, I aim for English classes that allow children to experience authentic American education even at home. The United States is a country where students of diverse races and cultures learn together. However, many children transferring to American schools struggle to adapt to real-life expressions or cultural contexts because they are accustomed to textbook-centered English. ✔️ Therefore, to help children overcome these difficulties in advance, I provide English classes that allow them to experience the exact teaching methods of American schools right at home. The core of my classes is not simply language learning, but helping students naturally adapt to the local environment by mastering the actual classroom structure, conversational tone, and mindset of American schools. Beyond being a teacher who teaches English well, I aspire to be a reliable partner who helps children grow independently with confidence, even in new environments.
