I operate the <Pulitzer Korean Language & Essay Writing> academy in Daechi-dong, conducting Korean language and essay writing classes for elementary and middle school students. I focus my instruction on current affairs and history essay writing, using textbooks produced in-house by the <Pulitzer Korean Language & Essay Writing Research Institute> for all classes. I conduct <Current Affairs Essay Writing> classes, divided into elementary and middle school levels, covering global issues, economics, history, and society—such as the 'Israel-Palestine Hundred Years' War,' 'CRISPR gene editing,' 'Tuvalu's Tears Amidst the Climate Change Crisis,' 'AI and Robots: The Future of High-Tech,' and 'The History and Present of Racism'—as well as science and medicine. Additionally, I teach the <Korean History Special 100> program for elementary and middle school students, which selects 100 major figures and events in Korean history to explore from a comprehensive historical perspective. In addition, I operate the <History Exploration Korean Champ> program for lower elementary grades, which not only enhances reading and literacy skills but also facilitates writing based on key contents of Korean history. In all classes, we significantly improve Korean language proficiency by enhancing reading and literacy through paragraph analysis and structuring, and by engaging in descriptive and argumentative writing tailored to specific topics. Many parents in Daechi-dong, who feel the limitations of traditional academy classes focused on problem-solving, are seeking out my classes for writing-centered instruction and solid Korean skills secured through paragraph analysis. They have expressed considerable satisfaction and given me high evaluations.
