“A child’s imagination becomes a game that moves on its own.” Hello. I am Rosie, a game creation instructor at the AI game development platform Verse8, where I help children express their creativity alongside AI. I majored in art therapy and have conducted various expression activities and creative classes for students at elementary, middle, high schools, and universities. As a result, I have continued to engage in activities that help children naturally express their thoughts and emotions. Currently, utilizing the AI game development platform Verse8, I conduct classes where children do not merely consume games, but have the experience of imagining, creating, and expressing themselves. My classes are not simply coding education. Children converse with AI to create their own characters, stories, and game rules. Rather than memorizing difficult grammar, they naturally develop their creativity and critical thinking skills by contemplating, "How can I express my thoughts?" and "How can I implement this idea?" In particular, the Verse8-based Vibe Coding method has a significant advantage over traditional, rigid coding education, allowing children to create much more freely and intuitively. For children, the experience of "making things themselves" holds meaning beyond mere play. Through small experiences of achievement, school-aged children build self-efficacy and confidence, believing, "I can do it too." Furthermore, these experiences lead to the power to think for themselves and take on challenges, positively influencing their future choices and growth. I aim to help children feel a sense of self-belief and accomplishment through the process of creating games with AI, rather than simply learning technology. This is achieved by allowing them to express and complete their own ideas. Beyond merely consuming what others have created, the experience that "my thoughts can become actual results" serves as a powerful source of confidence and motivation for children. In the coming era, beyond simply learning technology, the ability to utilize AI to express one's thoughts and create something new is becoming increasingly important. I hope my classes are not a time for children to simply follow the correct answers, but rather a creative experience where they can grow by imagining and experimenting on their own. For children who love games, I will work together to ensure that their interest leads to the most powerful learning.
