Hello. I am Teacher Choi Eun-hee. I majored in art because I loved drawing so much. For 20 years, I have been working with friends on various fun projects using art as a medium, such as the ‘Hope Well Sharing Project,’ ‘36.5 Degrees Filling (Wrapping Light, Let Light Flow, Sharing Light),’ and ‘Perming Art.’ Then, eight years ago, I discovered Havruta, and since then, I have been teaching by funnily integrating various themes with art. I am a teacher who teaches Havruta by integrating diverse topics—such as economics, art, and play—for everyone from kindergarteners to parents and teachers. While planning and conducting various fun projects like reading camps, history camps, and economics camps, I communicate with my students. With the hope that everyone will be healthy and happy, I apply Havruta to their lives, and I wish for that life to become a culture. This time, I have prepared an economics class to cultivate core competencies for the future during this rapidly changing time due to COVID-19. I hope this will be a time to learn economics in a fun way through Aesop’s fables and to develop ‘integrated competencies.’
