I love children's books and enjoy reading them with bright and free-spirited children. I also believe that children's books are necessary for adults who live hiding a child within their hearts. I majored in Korean Language Education and History Education, and began my career in reading education while working as an elementary school librarian. I guided students in reading education competitions and won the Outstanding Teacher Award multiple times. For 10 years, I worked as an external instructor for Reading, Discussion, and Essay Writing, as well as History Essay Writing, at schools in the Bundang and Suji areas, guiding over 1,000 students. In 2011, I received an Excellence Award at the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education's After-School Program Excellence Contest. As a Reading, Discussion, and Essay Writing instructor, I constantly contemplate and research ways to create classes that provide the essential help needed for the students I meet to read books more enjoyably and to speak and write with confidence. I authored the book *Meeting Reading, Discussion, and Essay Writing Through Whole-Work Reading*, which compiles case studies of whole-work reading classes.
