I am writer Chu Min-ji, who has published two volumes of novel-style essays. In addition to this, I work on conceiving stories across various media, including video planning and writing for Brunch. I have authored the books *Should I Play Scissors, Rock, or Paper?*, *I Just Wanted to Live Well*, and *How to Write Novel-Style Essays*. Based on my experience taking classes while majoring in Film Studies at a graduate school in the UK, I conduct fun and creative classes rather than rigid theoretical lectures. In foreign countries, classes focus on the story itself rather than technique; unlike in Korea, theoretical lessons are kept as short as possible, while the time for students to practice independently is actually longer. Most people believe that writing is only good if it is grammatically accurate and rich in description and expression. However, the true reason for writing is to convey one's story and emotions to someone. If we focus on writing techniques and grammar without considering this aspect, children will become afraid of writing. I will guide them to grow into adults who can honestly express their thoughts and feelings and possess rich imaginations.
