Hello, I am Yeom Jeong-won! Currently, as a 25-year-old university student, I serve as the CEO of a social enterprise corporation following my seventh attempt after six repeated failures. Over the past year and a half, I have achieved a distinguished record, including working in the Operations Planning Department of the World Federation of Korean Business Associations, serving as a reporter dedicated to interviewing ICT CEOs, becoming the youngest researcher at the Advanced Thin Film Center, and winning over six awards in startup competitions and contests. It is not easy to achieve such results in such a short period as one and a half years. I have also experienced just as many failures as the career achievements listed above. In fact, until I was 23, I enjoyed a university life without a dream, unable to study well, and busy just playing around day by day. I had never once done anything with passion. It is not easy to be passionate about a job you do not like. You also cannot expect high efficiency. How was I able to keep challenging myself despite repeated failures and develop so quickly in less than two years? I was able to achieve these results thanks to an "entrepreneurial spirit" that moves forward without giving up in the face of failure, and creative "problem-solving skills" rather than textbook-style knowledge. The failures, big and small, experienced by children as they find work that ignites their passion and achieve it will undoubtedly serve as valuable nourishment for their lives.
