I was glad to be able to take the Mind Map class before graduating from elementary school. I had high expectations because I believe the foundation of self-directed learning is the ability to summarize what one has studied on one's own. Now that the course is finished, I think my child has laid the groundwork for summarizing to some extent. I was worried that my child might struggle to keep up because they are very quiet and can sometimes feel frustrating, but thanks to the teacher who patiently waited for my child's responses, I feel grateful that we were able to wrap things up well.
