I have been teaching English book reading classes for three years. I guide students from reading to speaking and writing, aiming to help them grow into children who love books and read voluntarily. Reading is not an obligation. They should read before falling asleep, read during their commute to school, and stay up past 11 PM reading because they find it interesting. This is what voluntary reading is. That is how one becomes a voluntary reader. I want to help them grow into children who know the joy of books. I lead them through class and actively encourage reading at home by lending books and suggesting which ones would be good to read.
