Hello. I am Yoon Hye-rim, a professional math coaching instructor who dreams of a math curriculum that brings happiness to both mothers and children. I have been teaching math to elementary, middle, and high school students in the Suseong-gu and Wolseong-dong areas of Daegu for 18 years. Beyond the grade-focused math education of the elite course, I have intensely pondered the question: What is the true study of math? What constitutes *proper education*? Amidst this endless contemplation, the conclusion I reached was that math should not be merely about solving problems, but about fostering two things: the power of independent thinking and the perseverance to see things through to the end, even in the face of difficulties. While teaching children at entrance exam academies for several years, I realized that every child has different learning capabilities. Therefore, I have consistently attempted personalized coaching alongside my regular classes. Furthermore, while serving as the Vice Director of C-Math Thinking Skills Math Academy, I learned deeply the importance of developing critical thinking skills. I also franchised the "Speaking Math" U2M Academy and guided many students to grow significantly through a math curriculum that encourages independent thinking and explanation. Based on all these experiences, I teach using textbooks and curricula perfectly tailored to each individual child, instilling in them a positive mindset that **Math is manageable!* I also work as an instructor affiliated with the Havruta Parent Education Research Institute, helping children naturally learn *how to think* through my *Havruta Math That Grows Thoughts* class. Currently, I am meeting more children by conducting various math challenges and personalized tutoring online, in addition to offline classes. Furthermore, having completed Level 1 and Level 2 MTLC Multidimensional Learning Competency Expert certifications developed by a research team of master's and doctoral students at Korea University, I support children with more professional learning coaching. I find fulfillment not merely in helping children excel at math, but in helping them express their own thoughts through mathematics, feel perseverance and a sense of accomplishment, and ultimately grow as individuals. With 23 years of diverse teaching expertise, I will ease mothers' math worries, present children with "math worth trying," and create a math environment where both mother and child can be happy together.
