Literacy is developed by breaking down and explaining the literacy process—ranging from letters to words, sentences, context, and topics—into detailed steps for practice. The letter (Hangul) course proceeds in the order of vowels (medial sounds), initial sounds, and final sounds (받침); the word course covers word formation, definition, structure, context, and types; the sentence course progresses from basic 5-word sentences through 6, 7, and 8-word sentences as sentence components increase one by one, to complex sentences; the context course covers the occurrence and results of context; and the topic course focuses on understanding substantive literacy. The course is conducted using the textbooks *Hangul Doctor*, *Word Doctor* (both scheduled for publication), *Sentence Doctor*, *Context Doctor*, and *Literacy (Topic) Doctor* (published), and is combined with literacy cards (Hangul cards, word cards, sentence cards, context cards, and topic cards).
