Hello, I am Jang Seok-jo, a Table Tennis & English Coach with a great first impression, excellent interpersonal skills, and a sponge-like capacity for inclusiveness. Table tennis is merely a means to an end; the ultimate goal is to strengthen socio-emotional and English proficiency through the sport. The first objective for this purpose is to enhance empathy. This involves experiencing teamwork with friends and family through doubles. I have held an interest in and vision for community since my youth. I strengthened empathy while teaching young adults at universities throughout my life, and after retirement, I experienced that this was also possible with kindergarten and elementary school students. Currently, I am implementing a table tennis program that allows elementary students to empathize with their parents' and grandparents' generations. It is a comprehensive education that incorporates not only table tennis but also activities children enjoy, such as dodgeball and badminton. The second goal is to create an environment that strengthens capabilities. This involves expecting growth rather than achievement, and cultivating language habits of mutual support, encouragement, and positive speech. This is possible because I am a linguist. The third goal is humanities education. This is because the health of the body and mind are organically connected. The teaching style involves first analyzing the students' holistic needs and providing customized motivation and meaning.
