Thanks to my English major, I started teaching at an academy in my mid-20s through a senior's recommendation. Leveraging my experience, I joined an education company and have since guided hundreds of students—ranging from those lacking basics to those needing grade management—while studying diligently myself. Currently, I focus on online classes, teaching a diverse range of students from first year of middle school to third year of high school, and I work as a specialist instructor for middle and high school school exams and the CSAT. It has already been 15 years since I began living a life where I find fulfillment breathing together with my students. Although I am not stagnant, I continue to research new teaching materials to ensure my classes remain polished. I also ponder trendy counseling methods and strive to keep up with everything from K-pop idols to international soccer and baseball to better understand my students' perspectives. I do not know how long I will be able to do this work, but I feel truly alive when I hear the children call me "Teacher." I personally witness their achievements in English and continue to live chasing that dopamine rush when their grades improve. :)
