Hello. I am Kate, an instructor at Paro Edu, a global educational institution. Since my time at an international school, I have cultivated global communication skills and academic performance abilities through the IB-based global curriculum, experiencing English debates, essay writing, presentations, and self-directed project learning. Based on this experience, I conduct customized classes focused on the Academic English, presentation and speech skills, and the formation of self-directed learning habits essential for international school students. I also provide science education mentoring for elementary students at international schools, achieving high satisfaction levels through participatory classes where students think and explore on their own, rather than relying on rote memorization. In particular, I support effective learning by providing English-based thinking skills and an understanding of global learning methods, which are necessary for students preparing for international schools and overseas educational programs. Furthermore, drawing on my experience as a Korean school teacher for Korean-American students, I strive to communicate smoothly with students from diverse cultural backgrounds. I aim to provide education that fosters not only language skills but also emotional connection and boosts confidence. I aspire to be more than just a teacher who transmits knowledge; I want to be a mentor who shares concerns about the academics and career paths of students preparing for international schools and overseas educational programs. We guide students in adapting to international school life, participating in English-based classes, forming global study habits, and developing self-directed learning capabilities for admission to overseas universities, helping them discover their potential and grow.
