Amidst the flood of information—such as claims that "elementary school only requires calculations," "current curriculum is important," and "advance learning is essential"—you must have been very concerned about what your child truly needs. There is plenty of information, but it is truly difficult to find the core of "why" it is important. I do not force unreasonable lessons on my children. Instead, I am dedicated to researching lessons based on the following three principles. 1. Seamless, Step-by-Step Learning -> Mathematics is a subject with a much stronger hierarchy than other subjects. If the elementary foundation falters, the student will collapse in middle school; if middle school is unstable, they will eventually hit a limit in high school. I guide students to ensure a smooth transition to high school mathematics by firmly solidifying the units linked from elementary to middle school and utilizing unit assessments and thorough error management. 2. The Power of Concepts to Overcome Plateaus -> As skills rise step-by-step, a flattened 'plateau' is bound to occur. To prevent students from getting exhausted during this time, I have them constantly review concepts even within application and advanced problems, cultivating the strength to move beyond the next level. 3. 'Three-pronged' Education to Leave No One Behind -> To ensure that no student gives up due to difficulties starting from middle school mathematics, I bring up any 부족한 (insufficient) elementary concepts until the very end, even if it means explaining them again. A child truly grows only when the parents, the student, and I are in perfect harmony. My goal is for our children to look back on their precious school days in the future and say, "It was manageable" and "I was confident," rather than seeing math as a subject that makes them sigh. ^^ Just as you trust and entrust your precious children to me, I will serve as a solid foundation for their lives through warm affection and skilled instruction.
