Hello! I am **Teacher Liz**, specializing in teaching school math for elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as advanced elementary math and math competitions. 😊 Based on my extensive experience winning numerous math competitions, I conduct classes that help high-achieving students reach a higher level, while building a solid foundation from the basics for those struggling with math. For students who find math difficult, I explain potentially unfamiliar terms step-by-step and provide meticulous guidance on how to accurately read and understand problems. (Special lectures on fractions, decimals, and percentages; special lectures on geometry; concept classes for word problems) On the other hand, for high-achieving students, I effectively deliver advanced concepts for competition preparation—particularly equations and reasoning—tailored to the elementary level. (Verification of advanced concepts and access to various solution methods through solving past exam questions from the Sungkyunkwan University Math Competition, HME, KMA, etc.) For middle and high school students, I conduct classes that provide solid explanations of basic content for school exam preparation and work together with them to brainstorm and suggest various problem-solving methods. I encourage students to study independently and aim for in-depth math study rather than rapid advanced learning. Thanks to you, a student who started middle school math for the first time during a special summer vacation lecture in 6th grade achieved the remarkable feat of entering Sangsan High School and medical school. Rather than classes focused solely on solving problems and memorizing concepts, I approach my lessons with the hope that the children will also experience the joy of learning new things and the thrilling sense of accomplishment that comes from solving difficult problems. My minor in education has been a great help in carefully assessing a child's learning style and emotional state, and in designing customized lessons tailored to each individual student's personality.
