"Proving the process with results!" I am a star teacher in my 20s who teaches both middle and high school English at Kookgeu. I teach English for both school grades and the CSAT (College Scholastic Ability Test), covering students from the first year of middle school to the third year of high school. Textbook English and CSAT English require the ability to read and interpret written and academic English, rather than just simple spoken English. Since actual CSAT passages are excerpted from academic papers, journals, and texts in the humanities, social sciences, and sciences, I guide students to understand English structurally rather than intuitively. I was not a gifted student from the start. There was a time when I was a Grade 9 student in December of my senior year at a provincial general high school. After overcoming that struggle, I entered Sogang University and was accepted to Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. Therefore, I understand the helplessness of students who struggle with their studies, and I am well aware of the process of raising grades. Thanks to this experience, I have become a teacher who goes beyond simply explaining things; I identify where students get stuck and guide them to rise again. I provide customized instruction, starting step-by-step from the basics for lower-performing students and covering practical thinking skills and problem-solving approaches for top-performing students. I have been teaching middle and high school English for over four years and specialize in teaching all subjects from 7th grade (middle school) to 12th grade (high school).
