Hello! To the Kookoo friends and parents! I am Jung Ji-yeon, a learning coach dedicated to helping children grow with a warm heart. As someone who majored in Education at both undergraduate and graduate levels, I have met and taught a vast number of students ranging from preschoolers to adults. The educational needs of each age group differ. Because I understand our children's developmental stages and mindsets better than anyone, I strive for classes that allow them to think and realize things naturally, rather than boring, rote learning. In the field of education, I have always pondered, "How can I cultivate children's capabilities?" and "What direction should I suggest to parents?" Therefore, I research the developmental needs and competencies required for each age group, as well as how to support parents in line with the changes of the times and society. From guides on how to study English and Math—subjects children find most difficult—to lectures on diverse themes! I will summarize "the changes of the era initiated by AI and the corresponding directions for parenting and learning." I receive the question, "They say jobs will disappear due to AI, so I'm not sure if it is right to just send my child to academies and study like this?" I would like to examine the changes currently being discussed in society from an educational perspective and provide a compass on the criteria by which we should set our direction and raise our children.
