Hello. I am Teacher Eunice, the Librarian at Peony Kids Academia. At Peony Kids, I help children enjoy reading English books, understand them deeply, and express their thoughts in English. I read together with children ranging from readers and chapter books to Newbery Award winners and classic literature, tailored to their level and developmental stage. Through reading original English texts, I conduct classes designed to develop vocabulary, reading comprehension, sentence understanding, and discussion skills in a balanced manner. Having lived abroad for over 12 years since childhood, I completed the entire elementary, middle, and high school curriculum at a K-12 international school based on the Cambridge International Curriculum. Subsequently, I specialized in secondary English education through my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Education at Liberty University. Based on the English sense naturally cultivated during my long overseas life, global learning methods learned through firsthand experience with international school curricula, and expertise rooted in pedagogy, I guide children to learn English in a more enjoyable and systematic way. Teacher Eunice's reading classes begin with the experience of becoming fully immersed in a book. As children read a book, they encounter new worlds, follow the characters' emotions and choices, and discuss the issues within the story together. In this process, English becomes not merely a subject to be memorized, but a living language that enables thinking, speaking, and connecting. We will provide meticulous care to help children at the basic readers level gain the confidence to read English books independently, children at the chapter book and Newbery levels develop the ability to deeply understand the flow of a story, and those reading classic literature cultivate literary thinking and discussion skills. Moving forward, Peony Kids will support children warmly and systematically so that they can enjoy reading original texts, share their thoughts in English, and develop their own unique voices.
