My family is from the UK, and I grew up in the beautiful country of South Africa. Living in Korea for five years, I realized just how important English is to Korean students. I worked as an English teacher at the elementary, middle, and university levels. I taught students from grades 1 through 6. I also served as a homeroom teacher and was responsible for structuring the English curriculum. I provide classes where students can feel comfortable. I’ve had the privilege of living in South Korea for five years, which gave me a deep understanding of how essential English education is for students there. I’ve taught elementary school students at Sungshin Elementary and Maewon Elementary in Seoul, where I worked with students from 1st to 6th grade. As the head of both the 1st and 5th-grade levels, as well as a homeroom teacher, I was responsible for designing the curriculum for the English language program. Additionally, I taught English at Handong University’s immersion camps in Pohang, working with both elementary and middle school students.
