This is a review of the "Two-Digit Multiply by Two-Digit" class. My child always struggled with this unit, but after attending the teacher's class, they were amazed, exclaiming, "I can't believe there wasn't just one easy way, but several!" My child used to just struggle blindly to solve problems, but thanks to the teacher, they have finally been freed from the shackles of simple calculations! In particular, my child, who used to just blindly solve problems, now seems to have developed the ability to think for themselves and look at problems properly, thanks to the teacher. My child used to absolutely detest math, but after taking the teacher's class, they said, "I want to do only this class from now on!" They were a child who used to avoid math, but they really loved it once they learned how to break free from boring vertical calculations and properly understood the concepts. They even do the homework on their own without being asked because the amount is small. It is a truly amazing class that makes even a child who hated math sit at their desk on their own—it is a class that deserves a thumbs up.

This class reminds us that understanding mathematical concepts before attempting difficult problems is far more important than simply solving them. Just as a child easily collapses later if driven by a desire to level up without a solid foundation, it seems that if parents dismiss things by saying, "This is easy, they can do it," they eventually crumble along with the word "giving up" when those fundamental principles are not upheld. I feel that progressing in mathematics step by step at one's own pace is paramount. I am realizing that the true joy of mathematics lies in taking it slow, one step at a time, starting from the basics.
