Hello, I am Teacher Lee Jung-yeon. I have been teaching mathematics for 20 years, and during that time, I have met many students in middle and high schools, alternative schools, local math classrooms, and private tutoring. As a result, there were students I was particularly interested in and wanted to teach well. Rather than classes that turned top-performing students into the very top, I found it rewarding and happy to help students who struggled with math and were losing interest upgrade their skills one or two steps at a time. I didn't like or excel at math from the start, either. In elementary school, it was common for me to hide my daily worksheets in the closet without my mom knowing. I never won an award in a math competition. Then, when I became a middle school student and encountered linear and quadratic equations, I discovered the fun of math, and from that moment on, I began to love it. If you can solve all the math textbooks and workbooks from first grade to third year of high school, you have succeeded. Your brain is prepared to engage in mathematical and logical thinking. Because public and private education sets high standards for math too early and races forward like a never-ending train, our children become intimidated, feeling as though they are not good at math, and end up drifting away. Mathematics is becoming increasingly important in the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT). We are looking for students who will never give up on math, with the goal of completing all the basic math textbooks and workbooks by their senior year.
