Most English learners find that spoken English is much easier to learn than English reading or writing. But with the right guidance, it can get easier, and even become an enjoyable way to improve your English skills!
How the class works:
- First, we'll explore some different reading material together to find your current English reading level
- Then, we'll incrementally increase the reading difficulty to make sure you level up!
- The teacher will provide feedback and can assign homework upon request
We will:
— Sound out and pronounce words more confidently by gaining a better understanding of letter sounds and sound groupings
— Expand your vocabulary by learning new words and what they mean as we read
— Increase your reading speed and comprehension through things like discussions and question & answer
English is everywhere. Your child will become more confident, competent, faster, and overall more skilled in the English language, preparing them to do better on exams and in every day life.

Students who can already read a little, but would like to improve their overall reading ability.

Please bring a notebook and pencil if you would like to write down new vocabulary words and take notes.
Make it easier to focus
Please make sure to remove distractions and background noise as much as possible when attending the class. Use a tablet or laptop that is large enough for the student to read easily. Trying to attend class on a mobile phone in a moving car or in a place with lots of noise will make it more difficult for the student to focus and learn. Other homework and projects should be put away during the class.
