Hello, I am Jung Myung-ju. (I am usually called MJ.) I operated entrance exam academies and language schools in Korea, teaching both mathematics and English. I have over 20 years of experience teaching English in both Korea and Canada. I lived in Toronto for over 15 years before moving to Korea in October 2025. My Canadian husband, Zane, helps students approach English in the most fun and comfortable way possible through various methods. In Canada, I primarily taught classes preparing students for the CILISAT interpreter exam, but I have since been developing content and conducting classes for various other exams. I have diverse experience, having worked as a Campus Manager at the largest language school in Canada, as well as serving as a Career College Director and a high school teacher at BICC. Zane is a TESL certified instructor and currently teaches University Writing at Fanshawe College in Canada. I have been teaching various exam preparations and university writing for approximately 20 years in both Korea and Canada. Based on my extensive experience living abroad with native speakers, I aim to share the language used locally, including the nuances conveyed through speech, in an engaging way through various media such as news, reading, and songs. We also possess unique know-how for grammar lessons designed to aid in speaking. I intend to teach mathematics in an enjoyable way, along with providing diverse information for students attending international schools, considering studying abroad, or simply wishing to speak and express themselves in English. I look forward to studying happily together in various classes in the future.
