I am Teacher Tiger Benjamin Ezekiel, who gently fills the children with the sweet scent of the forest. Wherever I am with children, I possess the charm of helping them discover the joy of play by actively participating in various activities, allowing them to choose and expand their play independently. Children are truly, truly precious little ones who bring me laughter. Since 2015, I have been in charge of teaching dance, singing, and instrument playing in the kindergarten department of a local church Sunday school. I research and apply various methods to ensure that over 10 children can experience the fun of musical expression through instrument playing. In particular, at a daycare center, I implemented a play-centered curriculum for five one-year-old infants. I broke away from the traditional classroom format of play planned and led by the teacher and instead supported play activities centered on the infants by providing toys. Additionally, I supported creative play classes, such as nature play, by providing natural materials according to the seasons. We organized the "Breman Music Band," a music play activity for one-year-old infants held in the classroom for about a month to stimulate their curiosity regarding the ocarina, from exploration to decorating and playing. We guided the children to engage in free and diverse musical expression activities. Furthermore, utilizing various basic playing techniques with music therapy instruments, we are currently teaching the sweet joy of singing and playing instruments to 6- and 7-year-old Sunday school children every week in 2023. We hope that music play at home will no longer be just a noisy pastime, but a time that touches the hearts of children and moves the hearts of parents.
