I signed up for this because I thought it would be good to try 1:1 instruction tailored to my child's personality. ^^ My child asks a lot of questions and has so many things to know, so I was worried they wouldn't remember the theoretical explanations. However, since the teacher explains things at my child's level, it was amazing that they actually remembered everything. The teacher also did a great job of drawing out my child's imagination and quirkiness, so they were busy creating things in the sketchbook every single time. Since my child is a first grader with short attention spans, the teacher adjusted the pace of the lesson just when their concentration was waning. Because of this, I’m so glad I chose 1:1, and I really look forward to class time. ^^ This is a class I want to continue taking for a long time.

The advantages of this class are clear. 1) Generally, a finished product is completed on the same day. This gave my son, who seeks self-satisfaction, a great sense of pride. 2) The teacher is firm yet handles the children well. The teacher's excellent teaching skills play a significant role in enabling young elementary students, who often have short attention spans, to complete a project every hour. 3) It offers much better value for money than neighborhood art classes. Instead of going to a local art studio where the director corrects the work and the drawings are produced in the director's style, I feel a great sense of accomplishment seeing my child eventually complete a picture on their own, regardless of how it turned out. 4) We properly learn the art theories outlined in the curriculum.

I honestly had a slight worry because I enrolled my child in the class without even asking them first. They had said watercolor painting was difficult, so I wondered what I would do if they said they didn't want to do it... As soon as the class started, my child’s eyes widened when they saw the color gradation activity sheet, and they exclaimed, “Mom, this looks so much fun!!” Ah... I felt a deep sense of guilt realizing that they have been enjoying it this much all this time, but I had simply not made them do it because I didn't have time. Thanks to the excellent explanations, my child is becoming familiar with watercolor painting, and their foundation is building a solid base. I am ending today’s class on a happy note, just like my child who is so happy.
