Hello, friends! I am Teacher Hong Seok-min, here to study Social Studies with you in a fulfilling and fun way. What do you think of the subject of Social Studies? Is it just another subject taught in school, or a boring subject that requires rote memorization? I believe that Social Studies is not only a subject that captures every story of our lives, but also a rich entity where various fields such as history, geography, law, and economics come together. Also, as I mentioned earlier, because Social Studies depicts our own stories, you can often see what you learn in class reflected in your daily life. Therefore, I think it is an attractive subject where interest in learning increases when topics covered in Social Studies come up—whether you are watching the news with your family, traveling, or studying history or Korean at school. It also allows you to exude confidence by explaining what you have learned to your parents and friends. I hope you all fall even deeper in love with the charms of Social Studies through my lessons :)
