My child is comfortable reading and solving problems, but was weak at expressing their own thoughts and summarizing texts. The teacher guides them well and provides excellent guidance and feedback. Now, they are even trying to write short book reports on their own at home. They say the class is fun, so they play by writing down questions they made during class and asking their younger sibling to guess the answers. Of course, their sibling can't guess them, haha. They keep quizzing me too, so I ended up reading the book as well. Since they take the class with other children, they get to hear other friends' opinions and learn a lot from what they say. I highly recommend this class for many reasons.

Today, after reading "The Hard Candy," we tried making our own hard candy storage box (??). Even though my child is a boy, he loves making things this cute and adorable (??)^^. As soon as it was finished, he put his secret snack inside and tucked it right into his desk. (He said Mom shouldn't eat it... lol) Reading the book version of "The Hard Candy," which I had planned to watch as a musical, made for a more thought-provoking and meaningful time. Now that we've learned from the book, if there is a musical, we plan to watch it! Thank you always, teacher.

The title of the book, "The Liar's Puffy Rubber Gloves," is already bursting with fun! As soon as the book arrived home, my child read it to their younger siblings. (They even told me the storyline before bedtime, saying they wanted to tell me the content.) I asked what "crafting" meant, and they replied that it involves the fun of waiting. It was a secret until today! Simple yet uses materials that children love, plus the heart of waiting for something to grow! I am grateful to see my child come out smiling after happily finishing the class... and I feel thankful for the Havruta class, which helps thoughts and emotions grow together.
