Hello. I am Lee Dong-hoon, the author of approximately 20 chess textbooks, including 14 Power Chess titles. My credentials include obtaining an International Chess Coach certification in 2013, passing the International Chess Referee qualification exam in 2016, and winning the U1600 division at the Kasparov-sponsored Chess Tournament in 2019. I have spent 20 years playing chess as a hobby and 10 years teaching it. Currently, as the representative of the Maum Sports Research Institute, which specializes in chess education, I am devoting my efforts to writing chess textbooks. After encountering chess while staying in Canada in 1998, I have since made a living as a professional chess educator. To date, I have primarily conducted chess education, training approximately 900 chess instructors. I continue to provide consistent training to improve the skills of many chess instructors. Through Kookoo, I would like to share the chess know-how I have accumulated over more than 10 years in the field of chess education by communicating directly with students.
