“Why did this concept come into being?” “Why was this word created?” “Why did this result occur?” Concepts in social studies, science, and economics often feel boring and dry to children. However, in reality, every concept is connected to the stories of our lives and the world. I want to go beyond the confines of textbooks and create moments where children’s eyes light up, exclaiming, “Oh, really?” Children are truly happy in those moments. When I explain concepts using news and real-life examples, children’s eyes sparkle as they exclaim, “Wow, so that’s what that was?” The learning gained in this way becomes knowledge within our children’s lives, not just knowledge found in textbooks. Every piece of knowledge has a reason, and understanding its roots allows for long-term retention and the ability to freely connect it with other knowledge. I will help our children experience learning that penetrates deep into the core, rather than just skimming the surface. Teacher Ajinjja will be with you to ensure our students can maintain this habit even when studying alone. Since our children are studying anyway, let’s immerse ourselves joyfully, embrace a sense of accomplishment, and grow rapidly!
