Hello, I am Kim Tae-hwan. Born in 1997, I am an educator with 11 years of experience in private tutoring and academy lectures. I aim for classes that organize concepts until the student can understand and explain them on their own, rather than classes that simply have students solve a lot of problems. I believe that grades are merely results, and that what ultimately creates growth is the "depth of understanding." I have conducted various forms of instruction, ranging from one-on-one tutoring to small-group classes and academy lectures. I have also worked as a team leader at several educational institutions, including Chungdam Academy, where I oversaw not only teaching but also curriculum management, instructor training, and parent counseling. I also have a strong track record in establishing student management systems and analyzing achievement levels to adjust learning directions. There are two things I consider most important when teaching: First, the accuracy of concepts. Second, trust in the relationship. Students who repeat problems without understanding "why things work this way" will not last long. I always explain the structure of concepts, visualize them, and connect them to applications. In particular, I design a step-by-step approach that covers everything from interpreting sentence problems and preparing for descriptive questions to strategies for actual exams. Furthermore, I place great importance on trust with my students. Rather than scolding them, I offer guidance; instead of making comparisons, I coordinate their pace of growth together with them. I believe it is the role of an educator to help students maintain their self-esteem as their grades improve. I adhere to the same principles during parent consultations. Without exaggeration, I accurately assess their current standing and present realistic goals and plans. My goal is to foster sustainable learning habits rather than focusing on short-term results. I view education not merely as a job, but as a long-term vision. I aspire to grow not as an instructor simply filling class time, but as someone who designs the direction for their students.
