Based on this experience, I can help children practice using English at an interest and level appropriate for their age. [Key Points in My Class] The most important keyword in my class is "practical application." When reading original English books, I don't simply read aloud and move on. We think about the meaning of the sentences together, identify natural expressions, and then take time to share our own thoughts about the book's content. We practice expressing in English "what you felt after reading" rather than "what you read." When teaching grammar and writing, I don't stop at merely listing rules. We consistently practice constructing sentences using newly learned grammar and incorporating our own thoughts into them. I will help you start with short, precise sentences and gradually expand them into longer, more natural ones. The flow of my class is always structured so that the four stages—Reading → Understanding → Speaking → Writing—continue in succession. This is because I want children to experience English not just as something learned through text, but as something where they actually create meaning in their minds and express it through speech and writing. [The Growth Children Will Experience] While studying with me, children will gradually come to perceive English not as a "tool for getting the right answer," but as a language to express themselves. - Reading By reading original English books aloud, they will become familiar with pronunciation and sentence structure, and build confidence in their ability to read through texts to the end. - Speaking By discussing the content of books or their own experiences in English, they will practice speaking in complete sentences rather than just throwing out words. - Writing They will continue to have the experience of creating their own sentences using the vocabulary and grammar learned in class, and organizing their thoughts in short pieces. - Vocabulary and Grammar I will help them internalize vocabulary and grammar through practice, connecting them to reading, speaking, and writing every time, rather than just memorizing them.
